I just want to thank everyone from the bottom of my heart who have come forward and contributed so far, I still have a few families that need some help.
I know most have issues in life and its hard to cope, imagine that some of these children go without essentials each day, food is limited, the rely on food banks when their money runs out.
The families I help are families that have lost a loved one, or are living on minimum wage, have disabilities that enable them to work.
I have now been asked to help out the agencies that we have helped in the past, so all donations will receive a tax receipt, for receipts over $20.00. 
My company website has set up a page for my co-workers and on there we have a list of sponsors so far, which I keep on there all year.  
Last year I went on my own to help families, God put in my heart to help others, and I can only do so much, I help thought-out the year families, but at Christmas its extra special to me.  My mom, God rest her soul, was a single mom with 7 girls.  She struggled everyday, went without so her children would not starve, she paid highly for this. 
If you can help please call me asap, the deadline is Dec 10th and that is only 3 weeks away.  I'm not asking to cover a whole family, Ive had some just take one child, a gift card.  The remaining families are quite large and are hard to place, but if you can buy one gift card or one toy. one jacket or a pair of boots, all will receive something this Christmas. This program is no longer being supported though the Church, but It is a verified agency, I have attached the 2014 and 2015 sponsor letter that explains the program.  St. Padre Pio supported them over 10 years.  This year they are supporting another program, which is an amazing program, but sadly this agency will have families that will not get covered, they had to reduce their family support from 70 families  to 30 families due to no sponsors available. They all been moved to other agencies, but some will not get supported due to lack of sponsors at other agencies also. 
I've taken 10 families through them, and continue to support families that can not get help anywhere else.

Amazing we already collected for 6 families with the help of our sponsors.  I am humbled by it.   To ensure we can have all donations in time, we need to collect everything by December 10th.

Some children will not receive any gifts without your help, and some will probably not even have a tree or nativity set.
I've been participating and organizing sponsors for over 11 years.  Some of these families in need, barely have enough on a daily basis.
This year the demand is overwhelming, I get calls daily on families that need basic needs, and throughout the year when they have exhausted all and can't get food on their table for their children.
Any amount you can help with would go a long way, donating as little as $20.00 will give a child a gift and help with putting food on their table. If you can do more it will be very appreciated. 
Tax receipts are issued, I have till Dec 11th, to fill these families and baby baskets..

My name is Helen Giacchetta, and for the past 11 years I have helped raise monies for families in dire need of financial and loving support.

Family Sponsors are asked to provide gifts and grocery cards for their assigned family from a “wish list” of identified needs. Donations of gift grocery certificates or funds are also accepted and receipted for tax purposes. These donations will be used to provide additional families with a general sponsorship opportunity.
